MaguroDonya Miuramisakikou Sushi & Dining is known by Yazaemon & Megumi Kaiten Sushi in Japan. Located within the ground of Eat At Seven, which offers 7 Japanese dinning concept when all spaces eventually were occupied.
From the name, I would like to think of it as a Maguro specialist. Interior of MaguroDonya Miuramisakikou Sushi & Dining is of typical Japanese finishing and feel.
Shortly after I was seated, I was served with a cup of tea and Maguro marinated with shoyu.
I decided to order the Hon Maguro Hikkaki Aburi Don ($36) as I was informed that these were in limited quantity daily. This dish with Bluefin Tuna (both slices and minced) was served on a bowl of sushi rice. The sashmi were flame-torched at the table. Together on the serving plate were salad, miso soup, chawamushi and fruits. In the first picture, it was before torched.
The second view was after it was torched. Fats from the tuna were sizzled.
With the touch of torch, it bought out the flavour of tuna to another level. I enjoyed it. The sushi rice imported from Hokkaido was fabulous too. At the perfect texture and perfect amount of vinegar.
NAHMJ Verdict
After my first meal at MaguroDonya Miuramisakikou Sushi & Dining, it makes me want to go back for more delish, fresh Sashimi. I will be back.
