It is interesting to see a cafe operating within an Art gallery. Sipping coffee, enjoying delish food in a refined ambience and that is what Artisan C Specialty Coffee has to offer.
The cafe is operated within The Art Space filled with white washed bricked wall with cemented floor. Perhaps somewhat industry theme it is having.
Before settling down for coffee, I walked round to view the art pieces. There were 2 Art pieces with I like very much. The Niang Niang You Yu (年年有鱼).
And Faith by Hou Xiaoqiang.
Order is done over the counter and your order will be served to your table when ready.
Menu is very much coffee based drinks with some selection of non-caffeine drinks and few food for bites. One of which is very interesting and was recommended by Artisan C was the Kimchi Croissant. A croissant stuffed with homemade kimchi,
I was bold to try the Kimchi Croissant. After the first munch, interesting was the word that came to my mind. Delish isn’t a word I would use to describe but don’t get me wrong. It isn’t awful either. Maybe it is akin to eating a croissant with salad and it has strong flavoured salad dressing with it.
Cappuccino was with a smooth, full body, low acidity and nutty flavour note. It tasted like a 3 or quatro blend kind of coffee. I maybe wrong, anyway …
Good coffee with interesting food and artisty ambience. Great for having some me time with a good read.
Note: It was renamed to The Art Space Specialty Coffee By Artisan C in December 2015
