Elements And Co Cafe Singapore - By A Wall

Elements And Co Cafe Singapore – Cecil Street, Tanjong Pagar (Closed)

Elements And Co Cafe Singapore located at Cecil Street is the latest addition to the area in the last month of 2015.

The space is pretty industrial but as it uses lots of wood material and some green, hence it provided a softer touch. And it has high ceilling, therefore, you will the cafe spacious. It has a mixed of bar tables and normal dinning table which was thougthful.

On its menu were 3 sections; All Day Menu, Brekky On the Go and Snacks & Bites. At a glance, it seems the cafe is offering an healthier option using super food and spices in their dishes. At a closer scrutiny, indeed. There were dairy and gluten free option. Good news for the vegan and vegetarian, both options were available. It seems like that’s the trend in the last quarter of the new cafe.

Elements And Co Cafe Singapore - Menu

As I was there for lunch, I was recommended to go for something on their All Day Menu. Some highly recommended dishes were Mediterranean Quinoa salad or the frenchie’s summer salad for light lunch. For heavier lunch option, Mama’s Cod Fish Risotto, Piri Piri Chicken With Sweet Corn Succotash, Ceylon Veggie Curry or Moroccan Souk Kebabs.

Elements And Co Cafe Singapore - Aloha Crab Cakes with Papaya And Basil Sauce

I went for takeaway, to share with my sister who’s florist shop is a stone throw away. Aloha Crab Cakes with Papaya And Basil Sauce ($11.50) makes a good light lunch. I didn’t think the papaya and basil sauce paired well with the crab cakes. I enjoyed better eating the crab cakes by itself, without the sauce. I would certainly prefer this dish with more salad.

Elements And Co Cafe Singapore - Moroccan Souk Kebabs

The Moroccan Souk Kebabs ($14.00) was the second dish I ordered from the All Day Menu. I love the lamb mince kebabs. The spice marinate was great for the kebabs. The quinoa with pumpkin, chickpea and sultana bed was filling. I felt it was a little too sweet contributed by both the pumpkin and sultana.

Elements And Co Cafe Singapore - Cappuccino

Cappuccino ($4.50) was more than decent. A well balance cup with medium to low acidity and full body. It has a good nutty, milk chocolate and dark berry tone.

I am keen to try the snacks & bites such as the coconut maca energy bar ($3.50), chocolate chia seeds pudding ($3.50), quinoa trail mix bites ($1.80) and nutty banana bread ($3.5). I shall try some at my next visit.

NAHMJ Verdict

Elements And Co Cafe Singapore is a good add to the area for tasty healthier option. Since it opened early, a good breakfast place option too. Since it provided free WiFi, a good place to hold a short discussion and for work too.
