Sushi Tei’s New Autumn Menu – Singapore

Autumn is my favourite season perennially; be it the scene, the leaves turning orange and the Autumn produce. This Autumn, Sushi Tei’s New Autumn Menu will be available from 2 October till mid-December 2019.

This limited edition menu is available at all Sushi Tei’s restaurant in Singapore. We tried them at the Paragon outlet.

Sushi Tei’s New Autumn Menu

I have an extremely soft-spot for all things sweet potato and what’s more with truffle. Therefore, no doubt, the first item I highly recommend is the Truffle Sweet Potato Fries ($8.80). Instead of drizzle truffle oil over the crispy sweet potato fries, at Sushi Tei, generous amount of truffle dusting is sprinkle over them.

Croquette is ubiquitous in Japanese restaurant. This crowd-pleaser to both young and old is with Lobster Bisque Cream. Aromatic crustacean flavour in highly crispy croquette shell, I am certain that the Yoshoku Lobster Croquette ($6.90) will be one of the best seller.

Savour the natural flavour of the sea from the Butter Scallop ($9.80).

Citrusy Mikan Tai Salad ($15.90) is fresh tai sashimi. A fellow-diner commented that it feels like the Lo Hei.

The highlight of Sushi Tei’s Autumn New Menu is the highly prized beef, Omi Steak ($31.80) at a very affordable pricing. The well-distributed fat within the beef gives a nice marbling on the beef.

Chef Challenge Creations

A total of 6 dishes created by the Sushi Tei’s Chef at the various outlet are on the menu. The winner dish will be on Sushi Tei’s Grand Menu. We tried 50% of the dishes.

Seafood Collagen Pasta ($11.80), created by chef at Tiong Bahru Plaza outlet. The seafood cream with silky al dente collagen pasta with some greens and plump clams and squid will surely mesmerised the diners.

I love the refreshing Frutti Autumn Roll ($13.80). The fruit scent gave the sushi a new dimension of flavour. This is curated by Changi Jewel.

Last dish we tried is created by Northpoint City, the Sanshoku Roll ($7.50), canadian pork belly rolled with asparagus, pickled tomato and sauteed capsicum.

NAHMJ Verdict

At such an affordable pricing and great taste, there is more than one reason to savour the dishes on Sushi Tei’s New Autumn Menu.
