The Amara Sanctuary Heritage Trail is set against the tranquil green of Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa. Stroll through the picturesque area and hear the live commentaries of 2 compassionate and experience guides who will travel back in time with you to the days of British Colonial days, all within 60 minutes.
Starting from 8 September, on every Saturday and Sunday at 10am, the Amara Heritage Trail will commence. Priced at $18 for the public, S$12 for Amara Hotel in-house guests, and complimentary for Amara Sanctuary Suite and Villa guests. Alternatively, pick up a copy of the self-guided trail brochure at the concierge to explore for free at your own leisure.
The Amara Heritage Trail begins at the lobby of Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa. Participants will cruise through the next 10 points learning the yesteryear of the building, how the name Sentosa came about, when the island was identified.
Participants also learn to identify some herbs and spices, get to know the Heritage Trees within the ground.
At times, participants maybe distracted by the peacock and if you are lucky, you may catch one displaying its eye-catching tail
Enlightened by the guide of the various functional features built by the British and how the inspiration of the design behind the place.

At till end of the Amara Heritage Trail, which is at the Glass Pavilion, sweltering participant will look forward to enjoy a refreshing cocktail, the Gunner.
The Gunner is concocted with ginger beer, ginger ale, lemon/lime, and angostura bitters. This drink was named after Gunner Road (and the British Royal Artillery).
