Our first visit to Caffe B was for Saucy collaboration, A Uni Love Affair. Now our second trip to this Japanese Italian Restaurant dressed in contemporary and elegant theme located on the off-shoot of Club Street, is for the Innovative Cocktails transformed from the classic recipes.
With a list of impressive drinks already on the menu, Resident Mixologist Michael curated 3 more cocktails to further thrill guest with.
The Craftman’s 1823 Pimm’s Cup
A gin-based drink containing a secret blend of herbs and liqueurs with cucumber, strawberries, orange and mint. The fruity fragrance Craftman’s 1823 Pimm’s Cup ($38++) is good for sharing.
The Vintage Negroni
Next is an Italian Classic with mix of Gin, Vermouth and Campari, named The Vintage Negroni ($22++). This bittersweet with light floral scent drink fits the strong palate guest.
Best among the 3 cocktails for a warm night is the light and refreshing Margarita. Los Azulejos Tequila Anejo as the base tequila, add a dash Mancino Ross Amaranto Vermouth and Orange & Grapes Bitters to flavoured it up. That’s not all, instead of a salt-rimmed glass, it has sour plum like powder to elevate the Classic Margarita ( $25++). As the alcoholic aroma is light, it is well suited for ladies and those who don’t usually drink.
We love these 3 new additions to the cocktail menu at Caffe B. We believe that there is something suitable for anyone and at times, it may be dependent on mood as to which to order.
