I am sure you will agree with me that Singaporean loves Japanese food even though not all enjoy raw food such as Sashimi since there are the Maki, Yakitori, and so on. One Sushi is now opened at the new development in Yishun, Yishun Town Square. Located behing Northpoint cum North Park Residence. At this small little hub, there are only a handful of other eateries.
Unfortunately, this place didn’t exist on google map yet. Luckily, there is alternative, Streetdirectory.
One Sushi is a Sushi Conveyor belt Japanese Restaurant. Similar to Sushi Express, Sakae Sushi and especially Genki as both has the yellow colour theme.
Besides the sushi on conveyor belt, order additional food via the tablet.
Instead of relying on service crew, the food are served via the automated cart.
As the restaurant was full during the hours of our visit, those sushi on the conveyor belt was fresh. Add more order via the tablet such as the Unagi Roll ($9.80).
Another item which we love is the Salmon Mentai ($2.20 each). Great for diners who love mentaiko.
If you love raw fish, opt for the Salmon Sashimi ($5.60). The creamy fatty salmon was fresh and tasty.
Hamachi Kama ($13.80) and Hotate Mentai ($4.80) are 2 highly recommended items.
Choice of Hokkaido Cheese Cake ($3.30) with Brulee and Matcha as option, otherwise, Ice Cream ($3.30) with flavours such as Matcha Azuki, Azuki, Black Sesame and Yuzu. I would recommend the latter. Love both the flavours (Black Sesame and Yuzu) we tried.
Food served at One Sushi was more than decent considering the price point versus the quality. Give it a go especially if you are staying in the North.
