Little Farms Cafe started as a grocery store offering organic and fresh produce such as meats, seafood, dairy, and groceries, source directly from Australia and Europe suppliers. Now they extended the concept to a cafe with literally farm-to-table.
Though not close to any MRT station, Valley Point where the outlet is located within has bus stops at its door-step, hence making it relatively convenient to get there.
The dinning space isn’t huge. In fact, small in comparison and tables and chairs closed to each other. It isn’t a cafe that you would find it comfortable hanging around for a drink. Little Farms offers al fresco dinning too. Oh ya and this is one of the rare cafe that allows dogs indoor. If you love these fury friends, you would love dinning here.
One of the popular brunch cum breakfast item is the Smashed Avocado ($15). Simply spread the mashed avocado on a thin slice of sourdough and topped with eggs of your choice. Only after my meal, from the posting on social media and blog that I realised, feta cheese was absence for my serving. I did feel a pinch when I saw my plain-looking toast.
Cape Grim Steak & Eggs ($24) is yet another crowd favourite. A large cut of beef with a good amount of fat was sliced into manageable cubes. Though it sufficient pepper and salt were dusted on the meat, a pity certain part was too tough, too tiring for my jaw.
Lastly was cuppa that used the Allpress Espresso Coffee Beans. I tried both the hot, Cappuccino and Iced Latte. I prefer the latter. Generally the coffee seems like a dark roast with burnt caramel note and low acidity.
NAHMJ Verdict
Food served at Little Farm Cafe doesn’t come cheap. It may be justify for the quality they offer.
