Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel offers a number of dinning option such as our favourite Pool Grill; a Chinese Restaurant, Wan Hao, an All-day dinning cum buffet restaurant, Marriott Cafe; in addition to Crossroad Cafe, an al fresco dinning. This round we have an Indulgent Tortilla Wraps at Singapore Marriott.

 

Dinning campaign are refreshed regularly. We remember fondly of their recent White Asparagus Menu at their Pool Grill.  Thie Indulgent Tortilla Wraps at Singapore Marriott ends on 30 June 2018.

 

 

Indulgent Tortilla Wraps at Singapore Marriott

 

We were informed that the Tortilla Wraps at Singapore Marriott is an yearly affair. The popular items such as the Iberico Pork Secreto ($35++) and Chorizo Prawns ($35++) are maintained on their menu and each year, new items will be introduced too.

 

 

 

We managed to try all the 5 items on the Tortilla Wraps Menu. My favourite is the Iberico Pork Secreto ($35++). The char flavour on the pork enhances the flavour. 

 

Chorizo Prawns ($35++) though is tasty on its own, however when wrapped in the tortilla wrap, the flavour was masked. Perhaps, when the prawn is stronger in flavour, this will help.

 

 

Beef Sirloin ($34++) is delish however it wasn’t as outstanding as the pork. Maybe if they could use a better cut and give a char aroma on this red meat too, it would improve the flavour.

 

 

New item for 2018 is Moroccan Chicken ($30++). Personally, I didn’t enjoy theis dish, as the I get only breast meat. 

 

 

All the meat dishes comes with a serving of soft and warm Tortilla Wrap, shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole and salsa. Diners can request for a second serving if require more of the wraps or sauces.

 

 

 

Lastly, is a vegetarian dish, the Spanish Rice & Kidney Beans ($32++). This is a highly delectable vegetarian item. It exceeded my expectation for vegetarian food. Flavourful on its own and taste amazing even when wrapped. I suppose it was due to the spice and Jalapeno.

 

 

For the Spanish Rice & Kidney Beans Wrap, in addition to the guacamole and salsa, there are pickle onions and yoghurt mint instead. 

 

Our advise is to slap the guacamole and your favourite sauces and condiments generously and add more than 1 piece of meat on the wrap for maximum flavour.

 

 

NAHMJ Verdict

 

If you are thinking of other than Popiah Wrap, why not opt for Indulgent Tortilla Wraps at Singapore Marriott with family and friends.
