Following the resounding success of last year’s inaugural UNGA event, this year 2018 World Gourmet Summit event at CHIJMES turned the cluster of restaurants and bars into a gourmet marketplace. Up to 40 stations were manned by Singapore’s, and the region’s top experts to share information on products on offer.
I tried the cuisine by Chef Artur Moroz.
Dishes include Polish roast goose, chicken stuffed with liver, Polish dumplings, sausage. They also server Bigos sauerkraut with meats, Barszcz red beetroot soup, and bubbly and refreshing apple-based Cydr Lubelski and vodka-based cocktails.
Kopytka, is a kind of potato dumpling in polish. It is similar to Italian gnocchi and German Schupfnudel. It goes well with the young oat goose meat and roast chicken drumstick.
NAHMJ Verdict
2018 World Gourmet Summit is an excellent outing for foodies and families alike.
