District 10 @ UE Square launched its latest restaurant menu featuring the owner and executive Chef Luca Pezzera’s authentic age-old family recipes from the rustic kitchen of Mama Bruna Pezzera in Bergamo, northern Italy.
The Asian Cooler – the welcome drink was so refreshing and it boosts your energy after a long day at work.
Wagyu Beef Carpaccio – with rocket lettuce and 24 months old shaved parmesan cheese. The beef slides are thin and tender, it goes so well with the rocket lettuce and the parmesan cheese.
Caesar Salad – If you are a health cautious person, Caesar salad is one of the best choices. You won’t get bored because of the variety of the ingredients they put – roasted bacon, garlic croutons, parmesan cheers, smoked chicken and special District 10 dressing.
Ravioli Alla Fornarina Con Tartufo Nero – handcrafted ravioli with ricotta, black angus beef and egg yolk. The ricotta cheese is very creamy and it adds another dimension to the dish.
Villaggio di Bergamo Pizza – Wagyu Meatballs, Mozzarella, Basil and extra virgin olive oil.
I personally prefer thin crust Italian pizza. It is so crunchy! Those wagyu meatballs hidden under the cheese slides are definitely surprises to us.
La Mamma E Speciale – Chicken bolognese penne in spicy tomato sauce
The penne are evenly coated by the spicy tomato sauce, it gives you an additive sweetness and you will love it at first bite.
il Piatto della Nonna Fatta Homemade Angel Hair pasta in light parmesan cheese sauce with black truffle. When the dish was served, I was attracted by the slightly garlicky with a deep musky aroma. The tiny angel hair pasta mixed well with the parmesan cheese bring you with another layer of pleasure.
Traditional Italian Tiramisu – Tiramisu (from the Italian language, spelled tiramisù [tiramiˈsu], meaning “pick me up”, “cheer me up” or “lift me up”) is a popular coffee-flavoured Italian dessert. There are many layers and you can taste it by digging your spoon in the delicate mascarpone cream and coffee drenched biscuits. It is all a matter of balance.
Warm LAVA chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream – usually, I am not a fan of chocolate cake. But I was surprised that I enjoyed it. It is not too sweet and has just enough of cocoa accent that being overbearing. It is a pleasant, though unremarkable way to end the dinner.
I have to say that District 10 @ UE Square has a good problem because even the most finicky diner can find something to suit this taste buds.
