2018 Lunar New Year will arrive in a blink of the eyes. Decorations at the mall are already up reminding us of the festives. One of the important element at this festive is the reunion dinner. We recommend celebrating Chinese New Year 2018 With Park Hotel Clarke Quay.
Park Hotel Clarke Quay does not have a Chinese Restaurant, Porta and Cocobolo Poolside Bar + Grill, both Western Restaurant, however they have an excellent Banquet Chef, Chef James Wong, dishing delicious Chinese Cuisine. Under his belt is a total of 4 decades worth of Oriental and Cantonese cooking experiences.
Chinese New Year 2018 With Park Hotel Clarke Quay
Gather your family for a reunion meal during Chinese New Year 2018 with Park Hotel Clarke Quay at their function room, enjoying mouthwatering festives dishes. There are numerous set menu to choose from; 8-course Prosperity Menu, 8-course Fortune Menu, 7-course Harmony Menu and 6-course Success Menu. Available from 8 February to 2 March 2018.
At every meal during this period, Lou Hei is a must. Kickoff the meal with visually pleasing Prosperity Abalone Yu Sheng 金枝玉大叶捞生. Multiple coloured layers of complementing ingredients (purple cabbage, radish, shimeji and enoki mushrooms, lycium leaves, yellow chives and carrots) stacked to form a rainbow pyramid to signify good progress for the year.
Superior Braised Shark’s Fin with Crabmeat and Homemade Stuffed Crab 福星高照 (蟹肉浓汤鱼翅伴酿蟹钳), a luxurious soup that certainly will mesmerize all diners, unless you are allergy to seafood.
Whole steamed fish is also on the table during Chinese New Year meal. The Steamed Red Garoupa with Fresh Asparagus Roll in Superior Light Soy Sauce 年年有佘 (清蒸生红斑芦笋卷) making it convenient for all to enjoy.
Next is a traditional dish with a Western touch, the toothsome Golden Crispy Chicken with Fresh Button Mushroom in Cream Sauce 金鸡报喜 (黃金炸子鸡鲜毛菇奶油酱). A French-style chicken found favour in all diners, except those who doesn’t enjoy mushroom.
Followed by the Stir-fried Top Shell with Chinese Greens 风山水起 (蚝王炒螺头伴绿叶小白菜). Instead of serving plain green, a touch of lavishness is added with top shell by the side.
Another East-Meet-West dish, Tiger Prawn Toast with Salsa 大展鸿图 (虎大虾土司沙沙酱). The plating was alluring, we can’t resist staring at the art before digging in. The salsa augmented the toast. We thought it was a great addition.
Fragrant Fried Rice with Crabmeat, Egg White and Crunchy Root Vegetables in Vermicelli Basket 一团和气 (香炒蛋白蟹肉炒饭米粉篮) is well worth the calories.
The menu are available from $338++ for a table of 4 to 5 diners, to $628++ for a table of nine to 10 diners, inclusive of free-flow red date tea and soft drinks.
We certainly will recommend celebrating Chinese New Year 2018 With Park Hotel Clarke Quay.
