We first tried Alt Pizza when their first Alt Pizza at Suntec City. And we love it. After their success at the Suntec outlet, very quickly, 2 more were opened. One at Katong and the other Alt Pizza at The Quayside. We are very excited to try them out at The Quayside outlet to see if they maintained their standard, if not better.
A similar retro kind of wall art was also spotted in The Quayside outlet too, though I don’t remember if it was the same painting at the Alt Pizza Suntec branch. All in all, the look and feel for both Alt Pizza outlets were consistence.
Since it is a pizza restaurant, we should dive straight into the Pizza. We tried 3 pizzas. First was a meaty pizza great for the carnivore, The Hangover Pizza with pepperoni, fennel sausage. We tried the same pizza at the Suntec City outlet too. The verdict, it was as good as it was. The crust was thin and yet we could savour the bread-like texture while the tomato based was not over-powering and most importantly, enough cheese cover the surface of the crust.
Old School Pizza was the next. It was our first attempt. This was a simple, classic pizza tomato based pizza comprises basil, Sicilian oregano and of course cheese too. Comparatively, I still enjoy the meat pizza more.
I missed out a photo of our third pizza which is a Truffle Pizza with mushroom, which I like to think that it was specially designed for the Truffle lovers.
Among the handful starters, Alt. Wings is certainly a great choice for sharing. The beer-brined, hot sauce-tossed was tasty. Dipped the wings into the blue cheese dipping sauce to reduce the spiciness.
Alt Pizza At The Quayside is still as good as it was. We were extremely please.
