After opening their fourth and when it is located at The Central, around Clarke Quay area then did I find a chance to try out Craftsmen Specialty Coffee @ The Central.
I visited their outlet at Novena for a cup of takeaway coffee and I notice that that outlet has a raw or naked brick wall like the one at The Central. Maybe this is the signature look of the cafe.
Menu for various timing of the day is available at Craftsmen Specialty Coffee @ The Central. Hence I find it isn’t too friendly. We were there for Breakfast therefore we end up ordering only the brunch items.
First is the 3-Tier Brioche ($16). Per the menu, it was highlighted mild spicy but I couldn’t recall that it was at all. Since I love Brioche, the eggs and the rest of the ingredients, I love it.
This bowl of Healthy Granola Organic Soy Parfait ($14) has lots of granola settled in the bowl. Hence with such a huge amount, I find the yogurt too little. Maybe the Soy Milk was meant to compensate for the lack of yogurt. However, I am not a fan of Soy Milk. I still prefer having more yogurt.
Coffee at Craftsmen Specialty Coffee @ The Central was one that I prefer, with low acidity, full body and nuttiness.
NAHMJ Verdict
Craftsmen Specialty Coffee @ The Central offers pretty delish food and good coffee and since at a convenient location, above Clarke Quay MRT station, I am sure I will revisit again.
