Atmosphere Bistro @ Parkland Green East Coast Park is by the same folks behind Soi Thai Soi Nice located at Alexandra Centre offering authentic Thai Food. Atmosphere Bistro has another outlet at ARC that specialises in rice bowl.
The ambience is different to the ARC outlet though both are casual. At the Parkland Green East Coast Park, diners get to enjoy the gentle breeze and a view of the sea. It certainly help one to feel relax. For a moment, we will leave all our stress behind.
We found a number of delish items which we love on Atmosphere Bistro @ Parkland Green East Coast Park Revamped Menu. Let’s dive into these toothsome items now.
Commencing the dinner with 3 appetisers meant for sharing. First is the Garlic Butter Mussels ($14.80) with a crispy prata. I love the prata more than the mussels. Instead of dipping the prata into usual curry for a change, Garlic Butter Cream worked just as well.
Diners with big group could opt for the value-for-money Mega Platter ($38.80). On it were Grilled Baby Octopuses, Pork Bratwurst, Italian Sausage, Chicken Cheese Sausage, Shishamo, Prawn Paste Chicken Wings, Mini Prawn Fritters & Nacho Chips. Each item has its own fan.
Lastly the tender Grilled Whole Squid ($10.80) glazed with Teriyaki Sauce is a great option too. The sauce was lightly sweetened and complement the squid well.
Now time for Mains. First we have the German Pork Knuckle ($36.80), great for sharing too. The skin was ultra crispy and the meat was well marinated with salt.
If you love buttermilk waffle and is adventurous to try new items, surely the Takonomiyaki Waffle ($16.80) is a perfect choice. Everyone at the table agree that the the waffle is one of the best, though I didn’t enjoy the baby squid as I am not one who love chewy food.
Another variant of waffle item is the equally tasty Waffle Burger ($21.80). The minced beef in the patty wasn’t too fine and was with enough marinates, I thought that was fabulous.
If waffle isn’t your cup of tea, but you would love a Beef Burger, turn to the Lava Cheese Burger ($24.80). The attention is certainly on the flowy Deep Fried Camembert Cheese.
Alternatively opt for the savoury Mentaiko Pulled Pork Burger ($24.80). I love this item as it wasn’t soaked in the usual sweet BBQ sauce. Since I am a mentaiko fan, I am super bias towards this dish too.
Other option available are Premium Seafood Rice Bowl ($24.80) which is a specialised item of their ARC outlet. This is surprisingly good though it the appearance may be otherwise. The key is the sauce and the combination of ingredients.
Or perhaps in the mood for pizza, opt for the Flaming Pizza ($23.80). You get to enjoy the spectacular flaming as fire was ignited in the alcohol and then pour over the pizza. I didn’t like pizza crust. Overall it was cheesy and tasty with fresh ingredients.
At Atmosphere Bistro @ Parkland Green East Coast Park, dessert is must. Don’t leave before you order a dessert, if you have a sweet tooth.
Hold your breath for a moment for this item, The Lava Cake ($14.80), either Chocolate or Matcha are available. The crowd flavour was the latter. Even someone who doesn’t enjoy Matcha love this. Matcha flavour was intense with the bitter note missing.
The next dish with the flaming is the Black Pearl ($16.80) as such expect it to contain alcohol. Coconut Ice Cream, Coconut Flakes & Mixed Berries encased in Chocolate Sphere is the made up of the black pearl. When served, warm homemade Gula Melaka Sauce on Flame was poured over the sphere. First mouth, was “Wow” as the amount of alcohol was generously shocking.
Lastly was the Coconut Cheesy Toast ($14.80) reminded me of Breakfast or even Brunch item. This is a perfect platter as on the plate I found my Mains and my dessert.
And for drinks, we love the colourful lightly saccharine Fruit Tea ($9) available in Green Apple and Strawberry flavour or the Rainbow Tea ($8).
NAHMJ Verdict
Atmosphere Bistro @ Parkland Green East Coast Park is the perfect venue for a everyone, from young to old. Moreover, food is certainly delish. NAHMJ would certainly recommend them to anyone.
