Recently, I was introduced to Cleanse Bar, located at My Village, next to Little Wimbly Lu. What a contrast it is! For those who are wondering who or what Cleanse Bar is, she is a quaint juice bar that specialises in fresh and cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and milkshakes and offering detox and meal replacement packages. Read on to find out how to redeem a FREE bottle of freshly squeezed cold press.
Detox is a big word these days as more and more people are getting more health conscious. As such we aren’t surprise by the many detox products and in particular, Juice Bar springing up, after all the salad bar such as Toss And Turn. Though I know of a handful of detox juice bar, for an example, HIC Juice but I have never try it out. So far, to me, I always see fruit juice as thirst-quencher. If I don’t feel like having plain water, I turned to a Fruit Juice.
We know the importance of fruits and vegetables in our diet, mainly for vitamins and minerals. One additional fact that not all are aware is getting an healthy dose of live enzymes and phytonutrients. For those who doesn’t like fruits and vegetables, will lack of these nutrients hence, fruit juice might be a good solution.
Since it is a Juice Bar, there isn’t a need for big space decked with tables and chairs. Most would probably come by for a takeaway anyway. Therefore, though it has a shop space, it has only a counter for ordering and collection of drinks.
At Cleanse Bar, they painstaking sieve away the fibre from the cold press fruit juice. So if you are one like me who doesn’t like these fibre in the drink, this is great. Though some might lament that the fibre is gone. I think you could request not to be drained off if you value them.
First and foremost, there 3 special fruit juice are available. Starting with the Cleanse Body (contains Lettuce, Cucumber, Green apple, Ginger, Celery, Lemon, Wheatgrass and Baby Spinach). The colour of the finally juice is green and it is dominated by the Green apple flavour. Next is the Body Shaper (consists of Grapefruit, Oranges, Lemon, Pineapple, Tomato, Green apple, Kiwi and Grape). Orange is the colour of the juice. I tasted mainly Pineapple while most savour the Grapefruit. Lastly, is the Beauty Up (comprises Strawberry, Tomato, Papaya, Red apple, Kiwi, Grape, Beetroot and Carrot). End colour was red. This is a sweet crowd pleaser. Everyone who tried this love it. And I am no exception. Each 500ml bottle is $8. For a better pricing, get 5 at $35.
Having Fruit Juice for Detox is commonly heard and seen but having it as a meal replacement though not new, it is rarely embarked on. As having a liquid only diet for one day is tough, having it for 5 days is mission impossible. But if you really want to lose some pounds, it is worth biting the bulley. Anyhow, Cleanse Bar is offering such such a programe with Juice Cleanse Package for 1-day ($60), 2-day ($109), 3-day ($163) and 5-day ($267). Each day, there are 6 bottles providing all the required nutrients and at the same time filled the stomach. Nevertheless, it is great if you could challenge yourself for that with a goal of healthier body.
For something not too healthier but certainly thumbs up is the Avocado Durian Smoothie. It is so good till all of us ordered our 2nd cup. I am already craving for it as I wrote this post.
