LIONESSE GEM is the luxury beauty brand originated from the US. It has been around in Singapore for several years. I have not heard of this brand until a recent opportunity to attend an event organised by LIONESSE. I met the beautician team from LIONESSE Beauty Boutique and found out more about the products and services.
LIONESSE offers products range from high-end makeup, hair tools and hair care to luxurious skincare. LIONESSE GEM is the luxury skin care collection that are infused with precious gems, such as pearls, sapphires, amber, black onyx and diamonds. Each of these precious gem target different skincare concerns.
According to the consultant, these luxury products are best suitable for busy Singaporeans who seek effective and high quality skincare. I would think they will attract women who expect the skincare products they invest deliver desire and visible results. LIONESSE GEM collections are easy to use at home, however, for those who prefer facial massage, personal and professional skincare tips may want to add on with their facial spa services.
LIONESSE Beauty Boutique, located at Marina Bay Sands, consists four cozy rooms and 5 comfortable spa beds. LIONESSE facial spa services are tailored to individual needs and concerns that may change from time to time. The beauticians generally begin with cleansing, observe skin condition, discuss and advise the appropriate mask and type of lymphatic massage procedures. I noticed the spa rooms are not equipped with any medical equipment and was told LIONESSE GEM products live up to its standard; together with the suggested massage and treatments address the skin concerns, enhance products absorption and improve skin condition.
I tested the LIONESSE GEM star product Black Onyx Mask on the back of my hand. I find the feeling of heating effect similar to minerals enriched dead sea masks.
NAHMJ Verdict
At this point, I cannot conclude how effective LIONESSE GEM could deliver. However, I am tempted to add some of these high end products to my skincare routine occasionally; as a treat just to feel elegant and delight. Anyway, we are only young once, why not make it a bit longer sometime.
