The view is extremely beautiful especially since Le Meridien Sentosa is overlooking the Merlion.
Design of restaurant is classy and elegant with cushy comfy seats.

The Star Attraction
At the Taste Of Discovery Buffet By Latest Recipe Restaurant, the highlight is that guest are to choose a dish among the star attraction. First is a Singapore flavoured dish, Black Pepper Boston Lobster Ala Singapore.
Next is also a lobster dish, Baked Boston Lobster with Hollandise. This dish is great for diners who like creamy food.
Last but not least, for an alternative, the Pan Fried French Duck Foie Gras with Dark Cherry Compote is available.
There is only 1 ‘Live’ Station at the Taste Of Discovery Buffet By Latest Recipe, serving top local favourite, Fried Kway Teow.
This plate of Fried Kway Teow has all the correct flavours.
At The Buffet Table
Over at the buffet spread, as usual, food range starts with Soup & Appetisers to Mains and desserts.

By the entrance is the buffet table offers various Asian Salad including the Tahu Goreng with Peanut Sauce and Rojak.
Seafood lovers can treat themselves to fresh Oysters, Mussels, Scallops and Prawns. By a corner of the display is a Sushi Platter. The only pity was that Sashimi was absence.
2 soups were available too; Lotus Root & Peanut Pork Ribs Soup and Hot & Sour Szechuan Soup
Proceeding to the cooked food. First are some Steamed Chicken, Braised Duck and BBQ Pork.
The strong herbal with alcohol fragrance Baked Herbal Chicken is as good. There is a vegetable dish for a balance diet as well; Fried Long Beans with Dried Shrimp Chilli.
Coming to the more exciting dishes. First we have the Flower Crab in Chilli Sauce.
Followed by the Salted Egg Yolk Prawn.
And something which the local never miss at the local BBQ stall is the Sambal Stingray.
Turning to more local classic with Assorted Satay (Chicken and Mutton), Otah and crispy Deep Fried Shrimp Wanton.
An array of Indian Cuisine is also on the buffet spread with a few curries and tandoori meat.
Diners could have the curries with either Saffron Rice or Naan.
Our last station is the dessert table. An offering of both Nonya Kueh and Western cakes and tarts were available.
One of my preferred dessert at the Taste Of Discovery Buffet By Latest Recipe @ Le Meridien Sentosa is the Black Forest Cake.
An assortment of Eclairs in Raspberry, Chocolate and a local flaovur, Kaya are available
Another Asian infused flavour dessert available was the Asian Panna Cotta with Lychee, Mango & Pineapple.
Lastly, the pipping hot Tau Sau.
For diners who love to have some fruits could find a platters among the spread too.
The Taste Of Discovery Buffet is priced at $65++ per and $29++ per child (aged 7 to 12 years old). It is available at the hotel’s all day dinning restaurant, Latest Recipe on Friday and Saturday nights from 6pm to 10pm.

Varieties at the Taste Of Discovery Buffet By Latest Recipe @ Le Meriden Sentosa may not be as wide as some other buffet we have been to but the attraction is the star attraction. We love the idea of having a choice premium at a buffet.
