Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is a park featuring Indonesia’s 26 provinces on a 145 hectare land. It literally means Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park when translated. Therefore, divided into six areas based on the main islands of Indonesia; Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Maluku and Papua.
Visitor could admire the architecture of Indonesia and experience the way of life when going through the Taman Mini indonesia Indah.
Gaining Entrance To The Taman Mini Indonesia Indah
All visitors above 3 years old will pay IDR 10k for entrance. If you are driving, pay additional IDR 10k for car, IDR 30k for bus or truck, IDR 6k for motorcycle and IDR 1k for bike.
Religious Pavilion
If you proceed to the left of the park after entry, like we do, you will be greeted by the various Religious pavilions such as St Catherine Catholic Church, Prince Diponegoro Mosque, Arya Dwjpa Aram Buddhist Vihara, Haleluya Protestant church, Penataran Agung Kertabhumi Balinese Hindu temple, Kong Miao Confucian temple and Sasana Adirasa Pangeran Samber Nyawa.

Opposite the stretch of the religious building, there are the various Java pavilions.

Lesser Sundas Island
Next to the various Java pavilion is Bali, one of the Lesser Sundas Island. It is one of the most attraction area in the park. And the East and West Nusa Tenggara are also next to Bali.

Moving further, visitors will soon be greeted by Sulawesi pavilions.

Going anti-clockwise, Papua is next.
Maluku
The Maluku pavilion is before the Kalimantan but somehow I did not manage a photo.

The second last area before exiting the park is the Kalimantan Pavilions.

Riau Island
The Riau Pavilion is sandwiched between the Sumatra Pavilion.

Museum

Purna Bhakti Pertiwi Museum
A museum featuring the life of Suharto, the former second president of Indonesia.
Indonesia Museum
Opening Hours: Daily 0900 to 1600
Entrance Fee: IDR 15k
This museum features the arts and cultures of the various groups within the Indonesian archipelago.
There are a total of 3 floors in this museum. With Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity) for the theme at the first floor. Manusia dan Lingkungan (Human and Environment) is the theme of second floor exhibit. And lastly, Seni dan Kriya (Arts and Crafts)
East Timor Museum

Transportation Museum

Recreation
Various recreation for both adults and kids are available in the park. One of the noticeable recreation is the 4D Theatre worth experiencing. And various rides are available at the Taman Mini too.
Istana Anak-Anak Indonesia (The Castle of Indonesian Children)
Gardens & Parks
Within the Taman Mini, there are about 10 gardens displaying various plants such as Orchid, Cactus, Medicinal Herbs, Jasmine and Keong Emas (Golden Snail) Flower. Animals such as Bekisar, Birds, Fresh Water Aquarium and reptile. Others include the Taman Ria Atmaja Park, stage and music performance, Taman Budaya Tionghoa Indonesia, (Indonesian Chinese cultural park).

Shops And Restaurants
Within Taman Mini, there are shops selling gifts and souvenirs and restaurants scattered throughout. Four restaurants, Caping Gunung restaurant, California fried chicken restaurants, Pecel Madiun restaurant and various cafetarias and warungs.
Mode of Transport in Taman Mini
Since Taman Mini is huge, strolling around the park though feasible, it is tiring. Instead, within the park there is Monorail available.
Alternative use your own motorcycle or car.
All these are at an additional fee.
NAHMJ Verdict
As Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is too huge hence to tour with detail within a day is not possible.
