Fivefold Fortune Reunions at Spice Brasserie
Spice Brasserie at PARKROYAL Hotel on Kitchener Road is bringing back the Fivefold Fortunes Set (五福临门) created by Executive Chef Low Hoe Kiat of Spice Brasserie. In this set, it consists of 5 Chinese New Year delicacies.
At every Chinese New Year, how could the Yu Sheng be missing? This year, the restaurant is introducing the Crispy Baby Crab Yu Sheng. Instead of only pure Plum Sauce, it added Passion Fruit to create that extra zest.
Prosperity Pot (盆菜) is highly a must in every Chinese New Year meal. With the symbolic name and abundant seafood delicacies (prawns, abalone, dried oyster, scallop and more …), it is certainly a welcome by many.
Seafood fan rejoice! Yet another seafood dish, the Lobster in Superior Stock. This certainly has to be my favourite dish among the Fivefold Fortunes Set.
In all Chinese meal, rice is hardly missing. The Fivefold Fortune Reunions at Spice Brasserie included the luxourious Abalone Glutinous Rice with liver Sausage.
To signify sweet beginnings, Pumpkin Puree with Almond Flakes is part of the Fivefold Fortunes Set for diners to end their meal with.
Diners at the Lunar New Year Dinner Buffet will get to enjoy a complimentary Fivefold Fortunes Set and Yu Sheng while enjoying the Lunar New Year Lunch Buffet.
