Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen originates from Osaka. It has 3 outlets in Singapore. And it can be found in Indonesia and Thailand beside Japan. We visited the one at Liang Court. I noted that in terms of taste and the ingredients, the ramen differs from the usual that I have.
The ramen restaurant was tastefully decorated with lots of Japanese ornaments. We like the vibrant vibe of red colours in the restaurant. It makes the food more appetising.
Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen restaurant serves mainly ramen, side and drinks. The main highlight is the Kazan Ramen which has 5 different flavour soup based.
Complimentary condiments and eggs were left by the side of the table for self-service.
It was such an eye-opener when ramen was served. It was cooking in front of us. When order, you can ask for hard or soft noodle, more or less slat and the preferences of ingredient. We didn’t made any special request.
One word of caution. After the lid was lifted, the soup was still boiling. For our case, it over-flowed. I would suggest that diners to wait till boiling ends before tucking in.
The uniqueness of Osaka Ramen was the cabbage. It was a flavourful bowl of noodles. All ingredients were fused with the essence of the soup. We enjoyed.
And diners could request for refill of soup once.
Gyoza was equally delicious.
Mango Smoothies was full of mango goodness.
For the green tea, a good scent of tea fragrance was savoured.
In summary, good food and service.
