Gorgeous Looking Milkshakes From The Benjanmins and Cake Spade

Shortly after The Benjamins introduced their Over The Top Milkshakes, these gorgeous looking ones have taken the Instagram world by storm. And not long, Cake Spake has its own version of Cake Shake.

Aesthetically, they certainly score perfect marks. But I am also keen to find out how they taste. Do they taste as good as they look.

Gorgeous Looking Milkshakes - The Benjamins Cafe, Milo Dinosaur

Look at this raving beauty. You need to order these milkshakes as Over The Top (OTT). With the chocolate sauce coated lavishly around the mug, and over the top with chocolate tart and wafer, these make the milkshake even more inviting to savour. No one would deny its attractiveness. And it explain why it is taking the instagram by storm.

At The Benjamins, there were about 5 flavours. The top 3 sellers were Coffee Avocado, Milo Dinosaurs and Caramel Crunch. Other flavours include Banana Nutella, Old School Vanilla, Strawberry Cheesecake, Tim Tams. We were tempted to order everything on the menu. Lucky, we didn’t. Otherwise we would have been calories over loaded or maybe in a calories comma.

Now, let’s turn to the important question. How these Over The Top MilkShake taste? Was it good? Our first attempt was the Milo Dinosaur Over The Top Milkshake. We find it too sweet and lacking of milo flavours in the milkshakes. It was simply SWEET. Far too sweet for our tastebud.

Gorgeous Looking Milkshakes - Cake Spade, Matcha Cakeshake

Cake Spade has its version of Over The Top Milkshake too; known as Cakeshake. There are 4 creations; Matcha, Mudslides, Unicorn (Vanilla) and Rodeo (Cookies and Cream).

The first NAHMJ tried was the Matcha. Not as sweet as The Benjamins. It was lightly matcha flavoured and equally spectacular. These spectacular shakes are only available from 5 pm from Monday to Friday and 1.30 pm on Saturday.
