Tibits and Snacks From Hong Kong Holiday - My Loots

Tidbits and Snacks From Hong Kong Holiday

I always enjoyed buying tidbits and snacks from Hong Kong. It is amazing that in Hong Kong there are a number of tidbits and snacks shop selling a very wide variety. There are many which specializes in Japanese tidbits and snacks. During the Hong Kong trip with Mom, we shop at each and every one we spotted and bought some home. We can’t buy back too much as luggage space is our limiting factor. Lol.

I was kind of on Green crave and spree and ended up getting hold of any green tea snack that I spotted.

Pocky, Green Tea Pocky Sticks

Who doesn’t love the Pocky Sticks? I am no exception. Since I love stuff with Green Tea, I got the Green Tea Pocky Sticks to try.

Though on the box it stated Chocolate I suppose it is green tea with white chocolate. The taste of green tea is moderate with sweetness at moderate level too. It was prefect for my tastebud. I like this one.

This is the second Pocky Sticks that I tried, Chocolate with Green Tea.

In my view, it was amazing. First you will enjoy the goodness of the dark chocolate and the green tea will linger in your mouth after you have shallow off your bites. Though some may find the little bitterness of the green tea but I like it.

Nabisco, Picola Matcha Milk Waffle Sticks

I got hold of a Nabisco Picola Matcha Milk Waffle Sticks too.

As the name suggested, it is very milky. There wasn’t much of Matcha flavours. I was disappointed with this green tea product as I prefer a strong matcha scent to milk. But if you are milk flavoured fan, this could be for you.

Glico, Green Tea Cream Biscuit

Since I was on a Matcha crave and spree, I purchase a Glico Green Tea Cream Biscuit home too.

There was a nice vanilla fragrance from the biscuit but I couldn’t savour much of the green tea aroma from the sandwiched cream.

Collon, Cream Cheese

Collon is another childhood fave in the family. In Hong Kong, you can find the many flavours that are not found in Singapore. This round I spotted a Cream Cheese flavour.

We find the Cream Cheese a little too lightly scented. We still enjoyed this snack.

Collon, Egg Tart

The Egg Tart flavour is one of the commonly found Collon product in Hong Kong.

Strangely, the Egg Tart flavour is also extremely light. I am not too sure the reason why Collon didn’t want to increase the flavour a little more. It tasted too similar to the Vanilla flavour.

Collon, Mango Pomelo

Collon has made another Hong Kong customised flavour beside the Egg Tart flavour. It is the Mango Pomelo dessert flavoured. We didn’t quite like this as we find the sourish Mango Pomelo didn’t go well with the biscuit crunch.
