TEN Sushi located at The Quayside, the sister’s restaurant of Monte Risaia, is in the vicinity of Robertson Quay. Yet another restaurant by Marusaya Group.
This is a casual restaurant, helmed by Chef Hirai specialises in premium and contemporary Japanese cuisine using air flown premium ingredients from Japan.
The signature item at is the must order Omakase Sushi S$49++) consisting of 12 pieces. Highlights are Maguro (tuna), Otoro (tuna belly), Uni (sea urchin), Kanpachi (amberjack), Mizu Tako (octopus), Aji (Japanese horse mackerel) and more.
Another not to be missed is the Japanese Fresh Oysters (6pcs-S$28++, 12pcs-S$49++) from the Sakoshi Bay. It’s characteristic is creamy, briny and meaty; a taste of the sea.
If you prefer aburi kind, don’t forget to order the Aburi Salmon Avocado Roll ($20++ for 8 pieces). There is an option for non-touched salmon as well.
Leaving the best last, savour the melt-in-the-mouth A4 Wagyu Aburi Sushi (2pcs-$18++ / 5pcs-$44++).
NAHMJ Verdict
We love the food served at TEN Sushi. Beside the items we tried, there are lots more of options, especially hot food which we are keen to try at the next visit. And since they are one of the restaurants that opened till 3am (which is rare); it makes them a perfect supper place.
