Yet another meetup with friend, which also means an opportunity to try another restaurant. This round, we were deciding between Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse and Casa Rustico. As I couldn’t get a reservation for the former, hence we turned to the latter.
It is easier to get to Casa Rustico from River Valley Road. It’s neighbours are Table at 7, Chikuwa Tei and The Patissier.
From Casa Rustico Menu
This time, we skip the classic Pasta totally and opted for meaty items for Mains. Casa Rustico doesn’t serve Pizza in case you are looking for them.
As my friend was craving for beef, we selected the Butchers’s Cut ($29.80) with medium doneness. The smokiness from the grill infused with the surface of the meat gave a light woodiness aroma to the succulent cut.
Our next Main for sharing was the Salmon ($28.80). I was glad that there is hardly any fishiness in this oily fish. We love the creamy mash though I find it weird to add raisins to the dish.
There wasn’t much interesting dessert option except for Tiramisu ($10). Personally, I didn’t enjoy as it was saccharine without much of coffee, chocolate and alcohol flavour.
We love the food and ambience of Casa Rustico. I surely will be back for other choices.
