Red Mushroom Tea
The natural pigment of the red mushrooms gives the tea its pinkish colour. Just steep the red mushrooms in hot boiling water, as simple as it sounds, we get a fragrant tea with the aroma of the red mushrooms. Great for before, after, during the meal! Enjoy the unique aroma in every sip. If you would like a thicker tea, do let it sit for slightly longer.

All time Signatures
Besides the special menu of Rare Red Mushroom at PUTIEN, the restaurant offer a series of All time favourites. Below are some of the dishes we had in addition to the Red Mushroom dishes.
Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychees
A crowd favourite indeed. Deep fried to golden brown, coated with sweet and sour sauce. The Lychees plays a major role in adding a natural sweetness to this flavoursome dish! This definitely win hands down to our usual sweet and sour pork at ZiChar stalls or other Chinese Restaurant. The Lychee made a great difference!
Fried Heng Hwa Bee Hoon
Love the texture of this Bee Hoon. Fine, yet silky. Cooked with milky pork bones broth and infused with 10 sumptuous ingredients added a seafood rich flavour to the bee hoon. Topped with the signature crispy seaweed took this dish to a whole new level.
On a side note, PUTIEN do sell these remarkable Bee Hoon individually packed so that you can cook them your style at home!
Stir fried Yam
Lip-smacking Sweet and savoury on the outside, fried till crisp golden with the interior from the best portion of premium yams. So good that you will fall in love in every bite! Just the right cube size for one bite each time! How beautiful yam could taste like. We are totally smitten by this.
NAHMJ Verdict
As much as we love the usual signatures, the new and limited time Rare Red Mushroom at PUTIEN are not to be missed! We do not frequently sight them on menus of Chinese Crusine. Indulge in the nutrients packed wholesome dishes and aroma infused treats from PUTIEN!
