Cake Club By Marina Square opened since 14 July 2018 and has been open over the weekends and public holiday till 26 August. This event spanned across 7 weekends, bringing cake and dessert brands such as Antoinette, Creme Maison, Edith Patisserie, Lynn’s Cakes, Birds of Paradise, Ciel Patisserie and The 1872 Clipper Tea Co from all over Singapore.
The final weekend, 25 and 26 August 2018, Eddie Stewart, formerly from the Sydney’s Black Star Pastry whose Strawberry Watermelon Cake stormed the social media and even till now desserts lovers are raving about it will make appearance at Cake Club. At this final weekend, be prepared to enjoy and be surprised by some exclusive desserts whipped by Eddie, specially for the grand finale.
To locate Cake Club By Marina Square, make your way to The Roof Garden, Glasshouse, #03-03. Entrance is right beside Aston.
Baked Salted Egg Choc Mousse
First on the menu is the Baked Salted Egg Choc Mousse ($9). Essentially, it is a light Chocolate Brownie with Macadamia Nuts and hints of salted egg.
Blueberry Longan Cake
Next is my favourite among the 3 desserts created by Eddie Stewart, the Blueberry Longan Cake ($9). Consisting of Coconut Dacquoise, Vanilla Cream, Blueberry Marshmallow and Vanilla Sponge Cake. Lastly, crowned with Longan, Blueberry, Strawberry and Raspberry.
Ricotta and Berry Pancake
Last but not least is the creation from his upcoming N2 Brunch Club in Tokyo, in partnership with the celebrated N2 Extreme Gelato in Sydney. The Ricotta and Berry Pancake ($12) is making its debut only on one weekend.
A thick, fluffy, cake-like dense pancake with crispy edges with good amount of ricotta cream and berries cum edible flowers to beautify the look. It tasted as good as it looks.
Promotion
Cake Club By Marina Square is holding a promotion where diners get to enjoy all three desserts at a price of $25 (U.P. $30), in addition, receive a limited edition Marina Square cup. This exclusive promotion is only via https://bit.ly/cakeclub-
NAHMJ Verdict
For only one weekend, dessert-lovers get to savour these three cakes that are making debut in Singapore for the first time. Do visit Cake Club By Marina Square this weekend or you will regret.
