53% Discount For Dim Sum
Since the buzz here is the Dim Sum Promotion lunch. Let’s start with this mouthwatering items. I shall introduce the highlights and the items that we love most.
First the more traditional Dim, there are Steamed Pork & Prawn Dimpling with Caviar 鱼子蒸烧卖 ($6.30) and equally delicious Steamed Crystal Dumpling with Scallops and Vegetable 翡翠带子饺 ($6.50).
One of the best Fried Carrot Cake with Dried Scallop 干贝萝卜糕 ($5.80) I ever has, has to be at Tien Court. Simply perfect.
For the truffle fans, turned to Steamed Prawns Dumpling with Black Truffle 黑松露虾饺 ($8.30).
With 53% discount even though it is offered only on weekdays (Mondays to Fridays), I find it irresistible. Claim the offer now via Advocado.
Ala Carte
At Tien Court, beside the delectable Dim Sum, there are numerous signature dishes that are worth the calories.
Beginning with the beautifully plated Lobster Broth with Mini Pumpkin 金瓜盅龙虾汤 ($28), these are flavourful and there are thick slices of lightly chewy lobster meat to complement the soup.
Baked Fresh Scallops served with Cheese Mayonnaise and Teriyaki Brinjal 蒜香焗带子 ($36) is yet another gorgeous dish. Each scallop sat on a roll of eggplant crowned with cheese mayonnaise, best eaten within a mouth for all the flavours to mingle together.
Next item is the Braised Sea Perch Fish with Black Truffle and Mushroom 黑松露鲜菌焖鲈鱼件 ($32 per piece) which I love. The lightly black truffle was absorbed by the mushroom, therefore remember to eat the perch that was with an extremely thin batter to savour the most of the truffle aroma.
Firm meaty Deep Fried Pork Ribs with Plum Paste 冰梅温沙骨 ($10 per pax) was tasty though some commented that it was too salty. I feel that it might be due to the inconsistent amount coated on the rib. In any case, I didn’t mind the level of saltiness. However, I prefer the meat to be more tender.
Braised Rice with Diced Chicken with Bonito Flakes Served in Stone Pot 石锅木鱼花鸡丁烩饭 ($22) was surprisingly tasty. The bonito flakes enhances the flavour though some might dislike the fishy aroma.
Lastly is the dish that stole the limelight, the Roasted Peking Duck.
The crispy duck skin together with the special dark sweet sauce wrapped in thin egg crepe is tasty and addictive. I can’t stop at one. Even two is not enough. I wish I could have all the pieces.
Ending the meal with Cream of Coconut with Peach Resin 椰皇雪燕桃树胶 ($9). The coconut jelly was fragrance with perfect sweetness. A pity the peach resin was bland.
