Per the Dictionary.com, Saucy means
We at NAHMJ were invited to experience it for ourselves for their first creation. If you have tried Jimoto-Ya Ramen and if you know Yamazaki Whisky by Suntory. What do you think will be the outcome. The product is Yamazaki Ebi Miso Ramen which Wow us at first mouth.
The insipration of the Yamazaki Ebi Miso Ramen ($28) came from the XO Fish Soup, whereby XO is added to the Fish Soup to create an added fragrance. Hence, they added alcohol to the Amaebi broth of the Ebi Miso Ramen by Michelin-starred Chef.
Ebi Oil was infused with Yamazaki Whisky. The team have tried it with many different whisky and found the Yamazaki one complement the broth best. Instead of adding the emulsion or whisky while cooking, a 20ml shot was served together with the Ramen and diner can adjust the amount according to their preference. Our suggestion is don’t add everything at one shot as it can be overwhelming especially for those who don’t drink.
Each day, Jimoto Ya prepares only 30 set. If you are tempted, head over to Saucy website to reserve for your share.
Beside the Yamazaki Ebi Ramen, another interesting food available for reservation is the Sea Bream Truffle Claypot Rice, we yet to try. And a Pizza, currently undergoing upgrades.
We were in awe with the Yamazaki Ebi Miso Ramen created by Saucy with the patnership of Jimoto-Ya. Keep watch of them for more creative food. Who knows, they may create the next trend food.
