It is strange that I dined at Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory at Jem instead of the one closest to me, located at Chinatown Point. Dining at Chir Chir Somerset outlet would make more sense too. Maybe it is with the same reason, close proximity hence I have always chosen to takeaway and enjoy it with the family at the comfort of my home.
Design and theme of all Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory has a similiar look and feel.
The first item that captured my attention was the cute chicken feet tongs.
3 salad to choose from and we opted for the Mango Salad ($12.90). Sweet, Sourish fruitiness cum creamy was the overall flavour of the salad. Great to kick-start the meal as it whet appetite.
Spicy Topokki ($15.90) is a favourite among topokki fan. Personally, I am not a fan but I enjoy.
For diners who do not enjoy fancy sauce over the Fried chicken could order the sleek and simple, Crispy Fried Chicken ($26.90) which was delicious on its own. The key is tasty as it was well marinated and most importantly, batter was crispy.
We tried the Garlicky Wings ($28.90) but it didn’t appeal to us as it wasn’t garlicky and savoury enough. It slanted towards the sweet spectrum.
Yet to try the are the Spicy Flavour and the beloved Honey Butter. I suppose we will try in on another occassion when at JEM. Lol!
NAHMJ Verdict
Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory At Jem is well-received since the Korean Fried Chicken were tasty and crispy. Any time, NAHMJ would recommend them, especially when dinning in a group of 3 and more.
