Something common about the cafe cum non-food retail is that the space is gorgeously dressed and one would acclaim instagram worthy. Some might exclaimed “Great for OOTD”. Just to name a few examples, Monument Lifestyle and Knots Living. That include the coffee & craft, Groundstory Coffee at North Bridge Road, a similar concept was House of AnLi Bistro. At Groundstory Coffee and Craft, they occupied 2 units of shophouse. The entrance leads you to the cafe and on its right is the retail. Crafts at this retail space are an array of tablewares and accessories mainly for the living and dinning rooms of home.
The cafe offers only a handful of cakes and pastries beside coffee and tea as their menu.
There wasn’t much option on our day of visit. We chose Lychee Rose over the other which was Black Sesame if I recall correctly. A pity our cake was not “standing tall”. The sponge was far too dense for our preference though it has a decent lychee and rose flavour.
Both hot and iced coffee were brewed at Groundstory.
NAHMJ Verdict
NAHMJ like the ambience at Groundstory Coffee, cosy and feel very much like home. In addition, they offer free WiFi, making it a good cafe for doing some work on the laptop.
