Yuan Cha @ Far East Plaza is the second outlet after the success of their first at Bukit Panjang. The first time I tried Yuan Cha, I was impressed as I could savour good amount of tea scent with a good balance of the fruitiness. I was hoping that they will be in town soon. Now my wish was fulfilled. Hooray to more bubble tea.

 

Similar to their first outlet, Yuan Cha @ Far East Plaza is also an outlet for only takeaway. They have a consistent image and branding with the overall look and feel almost identical to their first.

 

 

 

In order to up their game in the bubble tea arena, Yuan Cha chose to brew their bubble tea with premium tea leaves. Hence one could savour the tea fragrance that is smooth to the palate. 

 

 

Menu of Yuan Cha @ Far East Plaza has a slightly different offerings as compared to the Bukit Panjang outlet. There are a handful of Premium Tea and more hot option available too. The same offering available are the Fruit Tea Series, Osmanthus Series, Milk Tea, Basic Tea and my favourite Fruit Vinegar.

 

 

In case you are looking for pearls, at Yuan Cha, there is no pearl instead they offer a healthy option with no artificial colourings and flavourings; QQ Rainbow, QQ Yam and QQ Sweet Potato. These are extremely addictive. 

 

 

My favourite among the Yuan Cha @ Far East Plaza remains as the Fruit Vinegar Oolong ($3.80). I love both the Plum and Apple Vinegar Oolong and topping of Aloe Vera ($0.80) is always a must.

 

 

 

NAHMJ Verdict

 

We are so glad that Yuan Cha has finally landed in town with Yuan Cha @ Far East Plaza. We hope they will spread their wings and invade all corners of Singapore soon so that more bubble tea lovers could experience the quality taste.
