I always remember Hard Rock Cafe for their beef items such as the Original Legendary Burger and New York Strip Steak. And of course the famous Wings too. When it comes to Vegetarian, I never imagine one from Hard Rock Cafe Singapore. Therefore, I was excited to try out Hard Rock Cafe Singapore Vegetarian Menu.
The Hard Rock Cafe Singapore Vegetarian Menu is introduced as part of the Vegetarian Awareness Month in October. The dishes are amazing. This new Vegetarian menu certainly exceeded my expectation.
Hard Rock Cafe Singapore Vegetarian Menu
This is the second year that the Hard Rock Cafe Singapore Vegetarian Menu is available for the limited period. It is available from the beginning of October through the end in support of the Vegetarian Awareness Month. And the good news is that this meatless me can accommodate vegan requirement.
Appetizer
The fame Hard Rock Buffalo Wing has its vegetarian version, the Cauliflower “Wings” ($14). Served with bleu cheese, celery and carrot sticks. Choice of Buffalo style or grilled with Classic Rock, Tangy or Heavy Metal sauces or dry seasoned.
Salad
2 salads specially curated in this menu. First is the Pico de Gallo Quinoa Arugula Salad ($22). It is a fresh mix of pico degallo, quinoa, lime juice and chopped cilantro, arugula. Then topped with shredded Brussels sprouts, spicy pecans, feta cheese and dried cranberries. Lastly, tossed in a citrus vinaigrette. This is a relatively safe choice since the dressing is a vinaigrette base. A suggestion of pomegranate sauce as alternative for this salad might more refreshing.
Next is the Feta & Fig Salad ($22). Consisting of fresh figs, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, pine nuts and arugula all lightly tossed with raspberry chipotle vinaigrette. This salad tasted extra tasty when consumed together with Fig. Comparatively, it has a sweeter profile than the former salad.
Wraps
Likewise, there are 2 wraps. Beginning with the Grilled Ratatouille Wrap ($18). In the seasoned grilled flour tortilla are grilled ratatouille vegetables topped with Sriracha mayonnaise, olive oil and baby arugula served with a side salad.
Second is the Seared Corn and Green Bean Wrap ($18). Grilled green beans topped with roasted corn, black beans, pico de gallo, rice and a spiced yogurt served in a seasoned grilled flour tortilla with a side salad
Burgers
Once again, in the Hard Rock Cafe Singapore Vegetarian Menu, there are 2 burgers.
Between the 2 options, Cauliflower Burger ($19) is my preferred burger. In it is a house made patty of cauliflower, garlic, egg, goat cheese, oregano and breadcrumbs. Topped with zucchini, squash, Monterey Jack cheese, arugula, tomato and garlic aioli, served on a toasted brioche bun.
A house made patty of quinoa with red onion, Portobello mushrooms, eggs, Cheddar, pecans, barley, soy sauce and breadcrumbs. Next, topped with Sriracha hummus, arugula and tomatoes make up the Quinoa Burger ($19).
Drinks
Hard Rock Cafe Singapore Vegetarian Menu also includes cocktails that pair perfectly with meatless options.
Very Veggie ‘Tini ($18) comprises of fresh cucumber, red onion, mint and lime juice shaken with Greek yogurt and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Followed with the Bell Pepper Martini ($18), a mix of Hendricks Gin, Benedictine, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, Hard Rock’s simple syrup, green peppers, mint and garnished with a green pepper ring.
Lastly, the Wascally Wabbit ($20) is with a mix of Domaine de Canton Ginger Liquor, Captain Morgan, Grand Marnier, Hard Rock’s simple syrup, carrot juice, apple juice and garnished with a large mint sprig.
The only alcohol free drink is the Beet Orange Ginger Juice ($8) comprises of a fresh blend of ginger, beet and orange juice.
NAHMJ Verdict
On the whole, I am impressed with Hard Rock Cafe Singapore Vegetarian Menu. Besides tasty vegetarian dishes, they are relatively healthier choice. Once in awhile, going meatless is a better lifestyle for the carnivores.
