Cookies has her first staycation with The Regent Singapore last Saturday. My sister and her hubby arranged one for her. We (humans) were more excited to find out the experience than the dog. Lol!!
The check-in at The Regent is 3pm. The first thing we did when we arrived at the hotel was to get Cookies to pose for photos.
And we proceeded to the check-in reception. The process was fast and staff was warm and friendly. And most importantly, they were friendly towards the dog too.
We were eager to check out the room and very swiftly we walked to the lift lobby.
With pets, you will need to hang the “Pet In The Room” Sign outside the room.
They were given a room near to the corner, Room 747. And before entering the room, they did not forget to get a photo in front of their room.
Upon entering, the first thing we notice was the pet bed with some goodies for the pet. Cookies can’t wait to sniff out her goodies. She was attracted to the beef loaf in there. Unfortunately, she can’t have it as she is allergy to beef (and also chicken). Sorry Cookies!
The room was spacious.
I always love the toiletries from the Four Seasons Hotel group as they offer L’occitane.
The same evening as part of our plan, we took a walk at the Singapore Botanic Gardens and have our dinner at Casa Verde. Very soon, the night ends. And we parted way, Cookies, my sister and her hubby went back to continue with their stay.
As Four Seasons didn’t allow pets to dine at any of their F&B outlets so as part of the package, they were given a $80 F&B voucher for room service. It was fully utilised with a good breakfast spread.
My sister prefer to having the Breakfast buffet instead.
They enjoyed themselves despite it was only for a night. But would certainly hope in the near future, The Regent Singapore would make arrangement for owners to dine together with their pets at one of the F&B outlet.
Some of you may also wonder are there any more hotels that offer staycation. The answer is yes but limited. There are 4 other hotels but there are limitation to the size of the pets. The only other hotel that allow big dogs (up to 30 kg) is Conrad. You are allowed to bring along 2 big size dogs but they are requesting for a non-refundable deposit.
The rest allow small dogs of about 7 kg and they are Four Seasons Hotel, The Hilton and Capella Hotel
